Lyngdorf Audio SDA-2400
The SDA-2400 is a class D digital power amplifier from Lyngdorf Audio. With its slim and elegant design and optional rack mount, the power amplifier can be used universally. Even if it can be combined with all pre-stages, it is also the perfect extension for the TDAI-2170.
The output stage has an output of 2 x 400 watts at 4 ohms. It is therefore ideally equipped for almost all types of loudspeakers. Together with the TDAI-2170, a 2 + 2 speaker system can be formed in addition to a more powerful 2-channel setup. Bi-amping with large speakers is also conceivable. Other suitable combination options are the connection with a media player such as a Chord DSX-1000 or a Lyngdorf DPA-1. In the surround area, the SDA-2400 can also be used as a surround power amplifier with a surround processor such as the Steinway & Sons P1.
Why digital inputs?
In addition to analog inputs (RCA & XLR), digital inputs (USB-DAC, SPDIF and TOSLINK) are also installed. This means that the data is transmitted in the digital area. That means: no loss of information, so better quality. The device focuses on optimal jitter handling for improved signal processing.
