With the NAD CI S1 BluOS Streaming Module, NAD presents a compact, powerful streaming module from the new CI Modular Series. It was specifically designed for custom installations that demand the highest sound quality, maximum flexibility, and space-saving integration. Despite its small size—just 1/3 rack width and 1U height—the CI S1 offers an impressive range of features: from modern BluOS multi-room streaming to the audiophile-grade ESS Sabre ES9039Q2M DAC.
Compact performance for large installations
The CI S1 is designed to take up minimal space, even in densely packed racks, while still delivering high-end audio. The integrated ESS Sabre ES9039Q2M digital-to-analog converter delivers crystal-clear sound with exceptional resolution and dynamic range.
As part of the NAD CI Modular Series, the streamer integrates seamlessly into new or existing installation systems. BluOS provides access to more than 20 music services, including Spotify, TIDAL, Amazon Music, Deezer, Qobuz, TuneIn, and many more. Content can also be played back and distributed throughout the system via Apple AirPlay 2, Bluetooth, or physical inputs from external devices.
Flexible – for new construction or retrofitting
The CI S1 is perfect for adding modern streaming functionality to existing audio systems or for creating new installations. Although the module is designed as a single-zone streamer, it offers additional flexibility through its main/sub-zone configuration: Two pre-outs can send the same stream to two amplifier outputs – including separate volume controls.
Thanks to its modular design, the CI S1 can be wall-mounted, rack-mounted, or placed freestanding. Included rack ears, keyhole mounts, and non-slip rubber feet enable flexible and secure integration into any environment.

The CI S1 offers a comprehensive selection of inputs and outputs to integrate virtually any signal source – whether digital, analog or via the network.

The BluOS operating system turns the CI S1 into a powerful content management hub. Music can be streamed, grouped, and individually controlled in up to 64 zones—all via the BluOS app or integrated smart home systems.
Thanks to native driver integration, the CI S1 is fully compatible with the most popular control systems, including:
Control4, Crestron, URC, RTI, NICE, Lutron, KNX and more.
The device can also be remotely monitored and managed via the partner service Domotz – ideal for professional integrators who value reliability and ease of maintenance.
