Improved version of the Pro Streamer

Better ADC for line input. The Pro Plus uses the TI Burr-Brown Audio PCM1861 ADC, which achieves digital output of up to 192kHz/32-bit and 110 dB SNR. It therefore offers high-quality analog-to-digital conversion for input from a record player, MP3 player or television. The device features a new generation premium DAC AKM 4493SEQ, which achieves leading levels of low distortion and wide dynamic range thanks to AKM's Velvet Sound Technology. It supports up to 768 kHz PCM, ideal for the latest high-resolution audio sources.

High resolution audio

More streaming services and audio content with MP3 quality, lossless audio or immersive sound technologies are being offered. WiiM devices can play lossless Hi-Res audio content from Spotify, Amazon Music, TIDAL, Deezer, Qobuz and more - and the WiiM Pro is also Roon Ready. It supports audio output up to 192 kHz and 24 bit, which is equivalent to what artists record in the studio. The integrated Texas Instruments DAC ensures high-quality analog audio output with a signal-to-noise ratio of 106 dB and a high dynamic range.

Gapless playback

Precise, gap-free reproduction is extremely important for the listening experience. With precise gapless playback, the timing of playback is guaranteed to be identical to that of the source. There must be no gaps or overlaps (crossfading) between consecutive tracks. With 'continuous' music such as live concert recordings or classical music, any interruption would be very negative.

Adaptive EQ

A groundbreaking listening experience requires both high-resolution audio content and a high-quality playback device. When Adaptive EQ is enabled, the music genre information and other tags contained in the audio content are used to adjust the frequency in real time - whether to capture every detail in the music or to make human voices more distinct in the podcast.

Automatic audio delay calibration

The connected receiver or speaker may have different audio latency due to different hardware, software and DSP processing. To ensure synchronization between individual systems, automatic measurement of the audio path delay is required. Using the built-in microphone and proprietary algorithm, the latency of the entire audio path is automatically measured when connected to the receiver or speaker. The latency value is used to ensure perfect audio synchronization during wireless multi-room playback with HomePod, Echo, Google Home or other WiiM devices.
