Dynaudio S4-DVC65 – Flexible 2-way stereo ceiling speaker with dual voice coil technology

The Dynaudio S4-DVC65 was designed for installations demanding maximum flexibility and superior sound quality. Thanks to its innovative dual voice coil technology, this in-ceiling speaker can reproduce both stereo and mono signals through a single speaker unit. This makes it ideal for hallways, bathrooms, kitchens, smaller rooms, or areas where installing multiple speakers is not possible or desired.

Inside, a high-quality 16.5 cm MSP woofer/midrange driver with a dual voice coil works in conjunction with two precise 28 mm soft-dome tweeters. This design ensures balanced, detailed sound reproduction and enables even sound distribution, even in challenging room layouts.

A particular advantage of the S4-DVC65 is its high degree of adaptability. The speaker features a main driver angled at 18°, which can also be rotated 360°. The two tweeters can be precisely aimed at the listening area, allowing the sound to be optimally adapted to the room acoustics. The integrated switch also allows the tweeter level to be adjusted for individual customization.

For even greater versatility, the speaker features a separate dipole switch on the back. This makes the S4-DVC65 ideal for surround sound applications and offers additional flexibility when planning high-quality home theater or multi-room systems.

The well-designed construction is equally impressive during installation. The patented locking mechanism allows for quick, tool-free assembly and significantly reduces installation time. At the same time, the mounting frame fits into many common ceiling cutouts, thus simplifying both new installations and retrofits.

The speaker also blends harmoniously into any room design. The magnetically attached steel grilles are painted white and can be painted over if desired. In addition to the included round cover, a square version is also available as an option, allowing the speaker to be discreetly integrated into almost any residential or commercial design.
