JBL Studio 698 – Powerful floor-standing loudspeaker with sophisticated technology
The JBL Studio 698 is a powerful floor-standing speaker that impresses with sophisticated technology and an elegant design. With its 3-way system, it delivers a clear and dynamic sound that is an interesting choice for both music lovers and home cinema fans.
The heart of this loudspeaker is the proven 2414H-1 25 mm compression driver, which in combination with a High Definition Imaging (HDI) horn enables precise and detailed reproduction of high frequencies. This is complemented by a 152 mm midrange driver and two 200 mm woofers with PolyPlas membranes, which ensure powerful bass reproduction.
Sound quality and design in harmony
In addition to its acoustic performance, the Studio 698 also impresses visually. The slim housing with magnetically attached cover fits harmoniously into a wide variety of living spaces and gives the ambience a stylish touch. The robust construction ensures reliable performance, while the bass reflex design with a rear, tuned port optimizes the bass reproduction.
To ensure the most authentic listening experience possible, the speaker has been equipped with specially developed PolyPlas cones. This technology not only improves the precision in the midrange, but also helps to ensure that the sound remains clean and balanced across different frequencies. Whether classical music, rock or film sound - the JBL Studio 698 delivers an impressive performance with a wide dynamic range.
Sophisticated technology for an immersive sound experience
The combination of high-frequency compression driver, midrange speaker and two woofers ensures a coordinated and realistic sound reproduction. The crossover frequencies are selected so that each component works together optimally and the sound image is not distorted.
The high power handling makes the speaker suitable for use in stereo setups as well as part of a home cinema system. The recommended amplifier output of up to 250 watts allows the Studio 698 to be combined with a wide range of amplifiers - from classic hi-fi amplifiers to modern AV receivers.
