SERIES M2-9R

These precision-made tonearms embody SME virtues that have been tried and tested over many years and are ideal for a wide range of different MM and MC pickups. The SME base allows easy mounting on the drive and perfect adjustment of the overhang. The classic SME headshell with a bayonet mount allows you to easily switch between different pickup systems.

The tonearms have a light and very rigid J-shaped tonearm tube made of polished stainless steel that is suitable for almost all types of pickups. The internal damping of the arm tube ensures optimal resonance behavior and outstanding tonality.

The classic headshell is made of aluminum and allows the pickup to be corrected in azimuth. The tungsten counterweight can be supplemented with an additional weight. With an S2-R headshell, pickups with a weight of up to 38g or integrated sound boxes (e.g. the legendary Ortofon SPU sound boxes) with a weight of up to 46 g can be used.

High-quality selected and stable horizontal and vertical bearings ensure optimal guidance of the scanner. The tonearm is height adjustable via a knurled nut. The internal wiring is made of high quality silver. The M2-R series tonearms are available in 9" and 12" sizes.
