Better (Room) Acoustics with Vicoustic

It's almost a truism, but it can't be repeated often enough: room acoustics have an enormous impact on the sound of your home HiFi or home cinema system. But in most cases, components are rarely used in an acoustically ideal room. This is exactly where the products from Vicoustic come into play, as the manufacturer offers an extensive portfolio of stylish acoustic elements that can be intelligently combined.
Hardly any room is acoustically optimal
In an ideal world, every HiFi fan would first put together their dream system and then build the acoustically perfect room around it. But for most people, this approach is likely to be unrealistic. With a bit of luck, you might be able to reserve an existing room with a not-too-unfavorable layout for listening to music, but often you have to make do with a corner of the living room negotiated from the rest of the family. With a clever setup of the system, and especially the speakers, you can try to get the best out of the available possibilities; even when it comes to choosing furniture and equipment, there is still some potential for optimization. But that usually exhausts all options. There are indeed some solutions for further improving room acoustics, but there are mainly two reasons against using them at home: first, planning such solutions requires a considerable amount of knowledge and experience, and second, most of these solutions come from the recording studio sector and are characterized by rather simple and functional designs, which are not necessarily the first choice for a living space.

Acoustic solution from the professionals
The Portuguese manufacturer Vicoustic is primarily active in the professional sector and is internationally leading there, but has also recognized exactly these problems in private environments and responded with its own product line for HiFi and Home Cinema. This product line is based on the extensive experience of the Portuguese in the studio sector and includes a variety of different elements that can be combined as required. On the technical side, these elements address the various aspects relevant to optimizing room acoustics: absorption, diffusion, and bass traps. All elements are available in various versions and, above all, in different colors or surfaces, so they can be perfectly adapted to the room in both function and appearance.
Support with planning
While most people are certainly able to choose the right colors for their interior, selecting and positioning the necessary acoustic elements is a much greater challenge, which usually requires an engineering degree and plenty of experience. But Vicoustic has thought of this as well and provides the customer or the executing dealer with their own acoustic expertise.
