Compact Streaming Artist: The New Lyngdorf TDAI-1120
At the ISE in Amsterdam, the Danish manufacturer Lyngdorf announced the new integrated amplifier TDAI-1120. Despite its ultra-compact width of just 30 centimeters, this device offers an enormous range of features.

Of course, the new amplifier also uses the same proprietary Lyngdorf amplifier technology as its bigger brothers, promising crystal clear sound quality with all sources.
And there are plenty of those if needed, because the TDAI-1120 is equipped with no fewer than five digital inputs (including HDMI/ARC) and two analog inputs, including even an MM-compatible phono input.
But the true strengths of this Danish device lie elsewhere: Connected to your home network via Wi-Fi or Ethernet cable, it can play high-resolution music files from there using UPnP, AirPlay 2 or Roon, stream music from the internet via Spotify and internet radio, and thanks to Chromecast, all other streaming services can also be integrated.
Such a broad range of features is, of course, best controlled using a dedicated app, which will be available for both Android and iOS at launch. Lyngdorf believes in this modern concept so much that, as things stand, a traditional remote control will only be available as an optional accessory.
Like all amplifiers in the TDAI family, the 1120 also comes with integrated RoomPerfect room calibration. A RoomPerfect calibration can be completed in just a few minutes with the included microphone and stand, and currently promises probably the best sound experience on the market.
Based on these key facts, it is clear that the Lyngdorf TDAI-1120 will be one of the hi-fi highlights of 2020. It is expected to be available from mid-May for a price of 1,999.00 euros.
