The AUDITORIUM on the road: SIM2

The home theater projectors from SIM2 combine fascinating design with cutting-edge technology. That alone is reason enough for the Auditorium to make the journey to Italy and visit SIM2’s manufacturing site there. Far right: Sebastian Schwarte with fellow dealers in Pordenone, Italy. Purchasing home theater components, and especially entire theater installations, is a matter of trust. That’s why, at the Auditorium, we only offer products we are personally convinced of and that deliver the best possible results in daily use. To ensure this, our experts not only engage deeply with each product, but we also maintain close contact with the manufacturers. This contact is important not only to stay up to date on the latest technical developments, but also because it allows us to learn a great deal about the ideas, philosophies, and above all, the people behind the products.
SIM2 Production in Italy
Pordenone may seem at first glance to be a rather sleepy little town in the Venetian countryside, but with SIM2’s headquarters, it’s actually a true high-tech site where fascinating home theater projectors have been created since 1995.

DLP Technology
DLP technology comes from Texas Instruments and has been continuously developed over the past few years. It enables the display of brilliant images with vibrant, natural colors and high in-image contrast. Even the light engines with just one DLP chip, where the different colors are produced via a color wheel, set new standards here; the top devices, with a separate chip for each of the three primary colors, are simply unbeatable in this regard. There are good reasons why most digital cinema theaters use DLP projectors.

All in all, our visit to Pordenone was absolutely impressive. And not just because of the exciting factory tour, but above all because of the many dedicated and highly professional people we had the chance to meet at Sim2. SIM2 projectors can be experienced at the Auditorium. Here are some more impressions from our visit to Sim2
