Audioquest Jaws Power Cable C13 Connector

The AudioQuest Jaws power cable was designed to supply audio and video components with an uncompressed, interference-free power supply. While conventional power cables can compress the sound image through electromagnetic interference and contact resistance, the Jaws significantly minimizes temporal and dynamic distortion.

Technical foundation for uncompressed dynamics

At the heart of the design is ZERO-Tech (No Characteristic Impedance) technology. By eliminating the characteristic impedance between the phase and neutral conductors, the cable enables unimpeded, transient-accurate current delivery. The system can handle sudden current peaks without compression effects, resulting in more precise dynamics and controlled bass reproduction.

Additionally, the integrated RF/ND technology (Radio-Frequency Noise Dissipation) effectively counteracts the distortion caused by high-frequency interference. Radio frequencies and mains noise are absorbed and diverted before they can reach the circuitry of connected components. The result is an extremely low-noise, "black" background that reveals fine details and spatial depth.

High-purity conductors & durable construction

The conductor material used is Solid Perfect-Surface Copper+ (PSC+) in a semi-solid concentric arrangement. The extremely smooth surface of this high-purity copper prevents interactions between the individual strands – one of the main causes of temporal distortion in conventional stranded cables.

With a generously sized conductor cross-section of 12 AWG and a current rating of up to 15 amps, the AudioQuest Jaws provides ample reserves even for power-hungry power amplifiers and integrated amplifiers. The robust textile sheath in blue and black nylon braiding, along with the gold-plated terminals, guarantees a permanently corrosion-free and mechanically stable connection.
