MELCO
S100A AUDIO SWITCH
The Melco Switch S100A has a total of eight network inputs for RJ-45 connectors and another SFP input (optical network). Port 8 can be used for both transmission paths (RJ-45 and SFP). This makes the switch ideal as the central manufacturer-independent interface for all modern hi-fi systems with network connections.
The special feature of the Melco S100A is that the switch has six 1000Gbit ports and two dedicated 100mBit audio ports.
Melco Audio has made these changes to its successful S100 audio switch due to high demand from the multimedia sector. With this modification, the switch is more flexible and can also be used in AV systems.
Furthermore, high-quality capacitors are used, as well as an oversized memory. The network jack LEDs can be turned off to minimize the noise environment.
The Melco S100 audio switch is built into the proven, high-quality housing of the Melco 100 series and has a 2mm thick metal housing. It is available in black and silver versions.
