The Audioquest Husky is an excellent subwoofer with long crystalline solid core conductors in a symmetrical arrangement that are provided with a 5% silver coating. The insulation of the Audioquest Husky consists of polyethylene air tubing with a large diameter. As a result, the conductors running in it are mainly surrounded by air, the best insulator. Polyethylene has the property that less energy is stored by the conductor in the insulation. The conductors for the positive and negative signals as well as for the earth are identical. The quadruple shielding system (NDS) consists of synthetic material which is provided with carbon and metal particles.
