Completely new tweeter with cutting-edge technologies
The new 600 S3 series introduces a completely new tweeter dome, the titanium dome. This replaces the aluminum double dome tweeter used in previous generations.
The new tweeter benefits from the same-sized diaphragm mounting plate as the 700 S3, resulting in improved, more open dispersion. It also features a new tweeter grille, designed in the style of the recently introduced 800 Signature series. This grille is acoustically more open than its predecessor, providing even better imaging.
The tweeter is equipped with a significantly extended tube system, which is adapted to the lower resonant frequency of the dome and results in a freer and more open sound that is less 'cabinet-bound'.

The improved driver arrangement sees the tweeter and the midrange and mid-bass drivers placed closer together for better musical imaging. The cabinet itself also features stiffer internal bracing.
Continuum woofer and midrange driver
Continuum membrane drivers are used in every model. 700 S3 magnet systems are used in the woofers/midrange drivers across the entire product range.
Bass diaphragm and magnet drive
Paper cone woofers are used in the 603 S3.
The magnetic systems derived from the 700 S3 improve performance.

The new terminal blocks are derived from the 700 series in design, arrangement and contact type.
Improved crossovers
All crossovers receive the improvements with the bypass capacitors that were recently used in the 700 series.
