T+A's design philosophy of timeless reduction is reflected in the Solitaire P-SE both in the overall object and in many small details. The narrow headband gives the Solitaire P-SE a compact yet present silhouette, while the black ear cups reinterpret the iconic design of the Solitaire P.
converter
The TPM 2500 (Transducer Planar Manufacture) drives the Solitaire P-SE. The basic construction of this converter is based on the TPM 3100 from the Solitaire P, the TPM 2500 has undergone far-reaching changes in essential details: the special membrane enthroned on the magnet construction is vapor-coated with copper conductors, while the draft control system from the Solitaire P has been revised, to meet the special requirements of the plastic construction. The end result was a converter that can transport the celebrated sound philosophy of the Solitaire P and TPM 3100 to a new price range. The sound of the Solitaire P-SE is characterized by its absolutely inert dynamics, bass power and precise highs without any sharpness.

The Solitaire P-SE clearly distinguishes itself visually from the Solitaire P, without denying the relationship. Through the use of high-quality plastics, a significant weight reduction was achieved with the same high level of comfort. Thanks to the ear pads adapted to the plastic construction, each individual instrument can be easily located without the wide landscapes of the sound stage having to accept any restrictions.

Space-saving, light and of high quality - the cables of the Solitaire P-SE had to meet these requirements. Their impedance matching and the symmetrical structure guarantee excellent sound characteristics, while their welding ensures robustness against external influences. In order to meet different preferences, the Solitaire P-SE comes with a 6.3mm jack and an additional 4.4mm Pentaconn or XLR connector.
