In addition to a high-density polypropylene housing treated against UV rays, the 100 OD8* are IP66** (Protection Index 66) certified. This international standard certifies remarkable resistance to extreme climatic conditions, in particular water tightness and dust resistance. With Focal technologies, the 100 OD8 speaker delivers the highest quality sound even outdoors.
In addition, it is easy to install thanks to its mounting bracket and precisely positioned using its 180-degree rotation system. And as usual with Focal, attention is paid to every detail and matter of taste, which is why the cover grille and housing are available in black or white ready to paint!

Focal technologies
A tweeter with an inverted aluminum dome for excellent sound dispersion; Mid-woofer with waterproof polypropylene cone and polyglass coating for perfect resolution: the 100 OD8 speaker features powerful 'made in Focal' components, all of which contribute to the Focal sound. 100 OD8 offers slightly higher efficiency and power handling than the 100 OD6, allowing for higher volume configurations.
Can be supplemented
With its high impedance (8 ohms), the 100 OD8 speaker offers the option of connecting two speakers in parallel to the same amplifier output.
Easy to install
100 OD8 is equipped with a reinforced mounting bracket made of solid, rustproof aluminum and offers the possibility to rotate the speaker 180 degrees to achieve a balanced sound distribution. The product is therefore easier to install and position vertically or horizontally depending on your preferences and the layout of your outdoor space.
