The market for hi-fi headphones has developed quite rapidly in recent years. Many new models and driver designs are capable of producing outstanding sound. Most of the time, however, they are driven by mediocre amplifiers in practice and do not reach their full potential. The new Head Box DS2 B, on the other hand, easily exhausts the capabilities of almost any headphone and helps even demanding models to achieve maximum performance with a powerful 1100 mW.

It offers three different current and four gain settings to adapt to any headphone or earphone. The fully balanced dual mono construction is completed by a phase inverter at the input, which converts any incoming unbalanced signal to a balanced one. A balanced 4-pin XLR output is on the front and guarantees the best signal transmission to your headphones. Both outputs can be used simultaneously for shared listening experiences.

The Head Box DS2 B adapts to every headphone in your collection. It doesn't matter whether it's dynamics that are difficult to operate, power-sapping planar magnets or sensitive in-ear monitors: pure pleasure from one box!

Very practical: switching voltage input for switching the device on and off remotely. The preamplifiers of the DS2 line, Pro-Ject Pre Box DS2 Analogue and Pro-Ject Pre Box DS2 Digital, as well as the integrated amplifiers of the DS2 line, Pro-Ject MaiA DS2 and Pro-Ject Stereo Box DS2, give, corresponding to the standard By button, a 12V switching voltage off. Connected with switching cables, several devices of the DS2 line can be conveniently switched on and off together with a push of a button on one of the preamplifiers, the integrated amplifier or their remote controls.
