NAD C 359S Streaming Stereo amplifier

NAD C 359S – Streaming stereo amplifier with BluOS and HDMI eARC

The NAD C 359S combines the characteristic NAD sound with modern streaming technology. The classic Class AB stereo amplifier delivers 2 x 70 watts into 8 ohms and up to 2 x 120 watts into 4 ohms. A modern, low-noise switching power supply provides ample power reserves even during dynamic musical passages.

The classic NAD design relies on physical buttons and rotary controls instead of a cluttered display. This keeps operation clear and intuitive. At the same time, the C 359S offers modern features such as BluOS, Bluetooth 5.0, Apple AirPlay 2, and HDMI eARC.

Integrated BluOS music streaming

BluOS integrates high-quality network streaming. Music services like Spotify, TIDAL, and Qobuz, as well as internet radio, can be used directly via the amplifier. Playing your own music library over your home network is also possible.

BluOS also supports multi-room audio. Additional compatible BluOS components can be easily integrated into the system and controlled via the BluOS app. Playback is possible at resolutions up to 24-bit/192 kHz.

Bluetooth 5.0 with aptX HD and AAC is available for wireless music playback from a smartphone or tablet. A headphone jack on the front further enhances the versatile playback options.

HDMI eARC for TV audio

The HDMI eARC connection also makes the NAD C 359S a practical solution for TV audio. A compatible TV can be connected with just one HDMI cable. Volume can be conveniently controlled via the TV remote.

Analog sources are also supported: An integrated MM phono input with RIAA equalization allows for the direct connection of a turntable. Additional analog and optical inputs are also available.

Subwoofer output and soft clipping

An active subwoofer can be integrated into the stereo system via the subwoofer output. The selectable 80 Hz high-pass filter can relieve the main speakers of the lowest frequencies.

For added safety at high volume levels, the C 359S features switchable soft clipping. The proven NAD circuitry reduces harsh distortion during overdrive and can protect connected tweeters from excessive strain.

With its combination of classic NAD Class-AB amplification, powerful power supply, BluOS streaming and modern TV connectivity, the NAD C 359S is a versatile solution for demanding stereo systems.
