The D-500 and D-5 bring Lyngdorf Audio sound quality to the in-wall speaker market. Following the successful introduction of Lyngdorf loudspeakers for modern living rooms, ranging from the MH and FR wall loudspeakers to the BW boundary woofers and the CS-1 cabinet loudspeaker, the Lyngdorf Discreet Series expands the company's range to include in-wall and in-ceiling loudspeakers for Stereo and multi-channel installations.
D stands for discreet
D stands for discreet - all models are designed as built-in speakers for discreet wall or ceiling installation and have a wall mounting mechanism with mounting feet. All models also come with their own speaker enclosure, making system planning and actual installation as easy as possible, as there is no need for a back box or closed wall cavity. This also ensures that the sound performance is always defined and consistent and is less dependent on wall construction and available space behind the wall.
Adjustable tweeter for immersive sound
The D-5 IC model is equipped with an angled, adjustable tweeter. Together with the square cabinet design, this construction enables the sound to be radiated towards the listening area, e.g. B. when used as height speakers for immersive audio, placed at the top in front of, at the sides or behind the listener. The emission of the tweeter can also be fine-tuned after installation.
Pre-assembled speaker boxes
Both the D-5 and D-5 IC models come with their own pre-assembled speaker cabinet, eliminating the need for an aftermarket backbox or closed wall recess. This ensures that sound performance is always defined and consistent and is less dependent on wall construction and available space behind the wall.

Engineered by Lyngdorf Audio, the D-500 and D-5 woofers, mid-woofers and tweeters feature soft-dome tweeters, lightweight aluminum cones and powerful, vented magnets.
