The Bryston 28B 2.0 is one of the most powerful mono power amplifiers in the Bryston portfolio and was designed for loudspeakers that demand particularly authoritative and controlled amplification. With an output of 1,000 watts into 8 ohms and up to 1,800 watts into 4 ohms, the 28B 2.0 has enormous power reserves and can effortlessly drive even the most demanding loudspeakers.

Its consistent mono design allows for optimal focus on a single speaker channel. The powerful power supply ensures ample energy for dynamic musical passages at all times. Bryston's philosophy of reproducing every watt from start to finish is evident in precise and controlled performance across the entire power range.

For exceptionally clean signal processing, the 28B 2.0 utilizes the patented Salomie circuitry from the Cubed series. Together with the sophisticated amplifier architecture, this ensures detailed, dynamic, and low-distortion reproduction. The gain can be switched between 23 dB and 29 dB, allowing for flexible adaptation to different preamplifiers and system configurations.

On the connection side, the mono amplifier offers both balanced XLR and unbalanced RCA inputs. This allows for easy integration into high-quality stereo systems. For maximum operational reliability and quiet operation, the power amplifier is fully convection-cooled and requires no fan.
