The H30A is affectionately referred to by Hegel as 'The Orchestra' because it is designed to make any music sound as vivid as possible on any speaker without pushing the limits. It masters this challenge with flying colours and sets new standards with its exceptional performance and technology.
Performance and stability: A powerhouse
In mono mode, the H30A delivers an astonishing 1100 watts into 8 ohms and remains rock-solid even with 1 ohm loads. This was achieved by combining outstanding electronics and a powerful power supply consisting of two separate 1000 VA toroidal transformers and a power bank of 270,000 µF capacitors.
Precise details: reducing distortion
The H30A's input stage eliminates distortion by using carefully tuned FET transistors that prevent higher order harmonic distortion. Additionally, patented SoundEngine technology monitors and corrects distortion in real time during amplification, resulting in exceptionally clear and detailed sound.
Versatile connection options and operating modes
The H30A can be operated as a mono or stereo power amplifier and offers balanced (XLR) and unbalanced (RCA) inputs as well as high-quality, gold-plated speaker terminals for optimal connection.
