SYMPHONY OF TECHNOLOGY

The MC2.1KW consists of three separate modules: an output module and two power modules, each containing a 1,000 watt amplifier. Through sophisticated engineering, the input signals are processed to produce a distortion-free audio signal. Autoformer™ technology combines the amplified signals, eliminates noise and delivers clear sound.

The decision to have three modules has practical reasons; each weighs over 120 lbs (54 kg), and having three modules makes handling easier. It also allows for a standard power outlet, which would be required with a single high voltage module.

FULL PERFORMANCE WITHOUT COMPROMISE

Thanks to the hand-wound autoformer, the full 2,000 watts of power can be delivered into speakers with 2, 4 or 8 ohm impedance. Other amplifiers could lose up to half their performance if the impedance doesn't match. However, with the autoformer, full power is output at all impedances.

The MC2.1KW is the successor to the MC2KW that rocked the audio world at the 2005 CES show. The MC2.1KW offers numerous sonic improvements including larger filter capacitors, Monogrammed Heatsinks™, modernized circuitry and shorter signal paths.

DUAL INPUTS FOR COMPLEX SYSTEM CONFIGURATIONS

New to the MC2.1KW are dual sets of balanced and unbalanced inputs, allowing more than one preamp to be connected. This flexibility allows you to switch between vacuum tube and solid state signals or use two preamplifiers of the same type.
