Hegel P20 Preamplifier

The P20 comes with an elegant system remote control that is machined from a solid piece of aluminum. This remote control has the same bead-blasted and anodized surface finish as the preamplifier itself. You can not only hear this high-quality workmanship, but also feel it.

Diverse connection options

The P20 offers a total of five regular inputs, both balanced and unbalanced. A special home theater input also enables seamless integration into home theater systems. In addition, both balanced and unbalanced outputs as well as a fixed line level output are available, which underlines the flexibility of the device.

The idea behind the P20 was to offer an affordable entry into our Separate series while setting a new standard for price and performance in preamplifiers. The preamplifier is perhaps the most sensitive device in a sound system, as even the smallest noise or distortion can affect the sound. With the P20, we have succeeded in offering the highest sound quality at an attractive price.

Innovative technology and design

When developing the P20, we achieved an impressive sound experience by using the latest technologies, such as silicon germanium transistors. Hegel also took high frequency components that were not originally designed for audio and used them in a completely new way. The result is a preamplifier that sounds open and natural, while being extremely competitively priced.
