The Gold Note CD-1000 MKII DELUXE DSD combines high-quality CD enjoyment with modern digital technology and also functions as a powerful D/A converter for external digital sources. As a high-end CD player and DAC in one device, it offers a versatile solution for demanding hi-fi systems and impresses with its exceptionally quiet, natural, and detailed playback.

At its heart is the high-quality JPL-2800 aluminum drive from Stream Unlimited in Austria. Its precise mechanics ensure reliable CD playback and form the basis for a musical and stable sound. Red Book CDs, as well as CD-R and CD-RW formats, are supported. Thanks to gapless playback, albums with seamless transitions can be played back without any disruptive interruptions.

For the Deluxe DSD version, Gold Note uses the high-quality BurrBrown PCM1792A digital-to-analog converter (DAC). Via the USB-B input, the CD-1000 MKII DELUXE DSD processes high-resolution PCM signals up to 32-bit/384 kHz as well as DSD256. Additionally, a coaxial and an optical digital input are available. This allows the integrated DAC to be used not only for the CD player but also for external digital sources.

Another technical highlight is Gold Note's Zero Clock technology. This helps reduce jitter, thus creating the foundation for stable and precise signal processing. Voices and instruments are rendered clearly and with good definition, while fine details are preserved. Despite the high resolution, the sound reproduction never sounds overly analytical or strained.

Furthermore, the CD-1000 MKII DELUXE DSD can be expanded with optional components. Power supply can be further optimized with an external power supply unit such as the PSU-1250 or PSU-1000. For additional sonic enhancement, the TUBE-1012 and TUBE-1006 tube output stages are available.

The brushed aluminum casing underscores the high-quality design of the device and ensures an elegant appearance.
