212828 Marantz HD-DAC1

The HD-DAC1 is so powerful that it effortlessly drives even high-impedance headphones up to 600 ohms without any loss of quality or volume – all with just a few simple steps. This is made possible by a three-stage gain control, Marantz HDAM-SA2 modules, a high-current digital-to-analog converter (CS4398) designed for audiophile demands, and high-quality fixed and variable RCA outputs. Thanks to this powerful performance, the amplifier is not only suitable for headphones but can also be connected directly to a stereo system's integrated amplifier, active speakers, or a power amplifier. It offers numerous connectivity options. You can stream music from all your digital sources via the optical and coaxial digital inputs and directly from a PC or Mac via USB-B. iDevices can also be connected via the front-panel USB port. An analog input is also included. For optimal performance, the USB-B port operates in asynchronous mode and can process not only high-resolution 192 kHz/24-bit audio, but also DSD 2.8 MHz and 5.6 MHz. This is the most direct way to enjoy excellent quality. To ensure that quality isn't compromised when connected to a computer or Mac, the digital inputs are surrounded by enhanced isolation, preventing high-frequency noise generated by the computer from entering the HD-DAC1. Jitter reduction and a dual-clock system ensure the highest precision in digital playback. The HD-DAC1 is undoubtedly a feast for the ears. It also looks great: information about volume, input, resolution, and more is displayed on the stylish Marantz porthole display. The solid aluminum front panel is complemented by a double-layered base plate and retro-style wooden side panels. Craftsmanship at its finest.

  • Asynchronous transfer mode for USB-B
  • High-quality D/A converter CS4398
