Nubert nuVero AW-17 – High-end subwoofer with powerful deep bass

The Nubert nuVero AW-17 is a powerful, high-end subwoofer for demanding hi-fi and home cinema systems. As the flagship model of the nuVero series, it combines a high-quality 12-inch long-throw driver with powerful active electronics and a meticulously braced cabinet. The result is exceptionally deep, punchy, and yet controlled bass.

The modified 12-inch woofer with a fiber cone allows for large excursions of up to five centimeters and ensures authoritative reproduction even at high volume levels. The driver is supported by a powerful amplifier with 350 watts RMS and 450 watts peak power. The approximately 70-liter enclosure enables impressive bass extension down to 18 Hz at -3 dB.

For efficient and clean bass reproduction, the Nubert AW-17 features a generously sized bass reflex system with a double-trumpet-shaped bass reflex port. This reduces airflow noise while maintaining high efficiency. The multi-braced MDF cabinet also minimizes unwanted resonances and supports precise reproduction.

Thanks to its extensive adjustment options, the Nubert nuVero AW-17 subwoofer can be optimally adapted to any system and listening room. Low-pass frequency, phase, and subsonic filter can be conveniently adjusted via remote control and saved to four presets. The low-cut switch allows you to change the subsonic filter from 20 to 30 Hz, enabling you to fine-tune the bass response for maximum depth or greater precision.

Sonically, the AW-17 impresses with low distortion and a very neutral sound reproduction. The subwoofer integrates harmoniously into the overall sound and extends the frequency range with particularly deep bass tones. This gives music more depth and spaciousness, while movie soundtracks benefit from impressive dynamics and physically palpable bass impulses.

The Nubert nuVero AW-17 also demonstrates flexibility in its connectivity options. In addition to the analog connections, there are also RCA and banana jacks available for satellite speakers.

The Nubert nuVero AW-17 is therefore a convincing choice for anyone looking for a deep, precise and high-output subwoofer that effectively supports both demanding music and dynamic home cinema sound.
