Clearaudio TT5 – Precise tangential tonearm for detailed vinyl playback
The Clearaudio TT5 tangential tonearm combines the advantages of tangential technology in a particularly compact and versatile design. Thanks to its technology, which is consistently geared towards precise tracking, the tonearm follows the ideal cutting line of the record and operates with virtually no tracking error. This enables exceptionally precise and detailed playback.
At its heart is the virtually frictionless carriage, guided solely by the stylus. High-precision V4 steel ball bearings, running dry and lubrication-free on a precisely polished glass tube, ensure smooth and controlled movement. This purely mechanical design requires no additional drive mechanism and combines high precision with exceptionally smooth operation.
Furthermore, the clearaudio TT5 tonearm can be flexibly adjusted to the cartridge being used. VTA, azimuth, and tracking force can be precisely set, and it supports cartridges weighing from 5.5 to 15.0 grams. The TT5 can be mounted on most common turntables and is particularly well-suited for use with clearaudio turntables.
For added ease of use, the TT5 is optionally available with the clearaudio swing base. This allows the tonearm to be easily swung sideways away from the platter, providing convenient access to the record.
The TT5 also impresses visually with its high-quality combination of aluminum, stainless steel, and glass. Available in black or silver, it blends harmoniously into various hi-fi systems. The pre-assembled 1.1-meter Super Sixtream signal cable with RCA connectors completes the premium package.
