Invisible series soundproof enclosures
IS housings offer an impressive broadband noise reduction of 20 dB, which greatly reduces sound transmission to adjacent rooms. This is achieved through a rigorously constructed MDF and aluminum structure, which is lined with a vibration-damping membrane that lies between two asymmetrical sound absorbers.
While this advanced construction technique is common in some of the world's best hi-fi speakers to reduce cabinet noise, it is rarely, if ever, used in architectural speakers. These enclosures are recommended for applications where it is important to keep sound losses to a minimum.
