Sonus faber is no newcomer to subwoofer design and construction. The first subwoofer project, the Gravis FB100, was launched in 1986, followed ten years later by the Sonus faber Cremona M. With the new Gravis collection, Sonus faber returns to its roots, combining ever-evolving cutting-edge technology with preservation its identity of natural sound and high quality Italian craftsmanship.

The Gravis III is one of the Gravis V and VI among the most powerful active subwoofers that Sonus faber has ever developed to optimize dynamic impact and sound reproduction depth. Gravis III was designed to be the perfect complement to all of the speaker collections that have shaped the history of Sonus faber. Aesthetically linked by the body covered in black leather, they differ from each other by the finishes of the handcrafted wooden top.

The Gravis collection, the line of active subwoofers dedicated to the reproduction of low frequencies, matches all Sonus faber full-range speaker collections. Gravis III matches the Olympica Nova collection.
