The 800 Series Diamond is undergoing a further development that is quite something. Everything they know and what they are: Bowers & Wilkins talks about the most advanced speaker series they can create.

805 D4
The 805 D4 are the compact bookshelf speakers of the new 800 series. They impress with advanced technology, such as the diamond dome tweeter and the ultra-stable tweeter-on-top housing. The perfect proof that small can also be beautiful and strong.

Ultra-stable tweeter housing:
The ultra-stable tweeter housing of the Bowers & Wilkins loudspeakers is characterized by an elongated shape with a longer tube system. The sound produced in the treble range is even freer and more open. Milled from a solid aluminum block, the carefully decoupled housing counteracts resonances even better.
Rear-mounted crossover:
The new 800 series stereo models are equipped with crossovers mounted on a rigid aluminum back. This means that the sensitive capacitors are not affected by the air pressure within the housing.
Tweeter-on-top design
The tweeter-on-top design features an even more elongated shape with a longer tube system. This not only looks better, but also makes the sound appear even more open in the high frequency range. The outer casing is even stiffer. The unusual acoustic shape is particularly effective in combination with the new two-point decoupling system, which isolates the housing from the rest of the loudspeaker more effectively than ever.
