High end for the living room
The development goal for the B80 was to create an acoustically outstanding and at the same time elegant loudspeaker system that, despite its stately size, can be integrated into almost any living environment. For many years, B80 & B80MKII enjoyed great popularity due to the high quality. We have secured the few remaining models for you. With a special feature: the B80 MKII is available from us in high-gloss white.
Compared to its predecessor, the B80, the crossover has been improved for the B80 MK2, thereby expanding the range of tones in the low-frequency range. In addition, the ribbon tweeter was given a new sound guide, which allows the overtones to sound more spatially diversified and even silkier. Look, feel and the proven membrane and magnet technologies have been retained. Just like the high tonal neutrality of the original B80 and its fascinating resolution when playing back voices and instruments. Two side-mounted 210 mm woofers with extremely stable fiberglass membranes ensure deep, tight and cleanly contoured bass with above-average displacement and powerful magnets. The midrange drivers, modified according to Burmester specifications, impress with their crystal-clear magnesium cones and their patented magnet technology for reducing non-linear distortion. They make the finest musical nuances audible, but can also show an unprecedented temperament if necessary. The ribbon tweeter sets highlights in the upper listening range, because its drive magnet has athletic powers that effortlessly set the light and vital Kaladex membrane membrane into the desired vibrations
Special color high-gloss white at no extra charge
The B80 MK II was not offered in white as standard. This special color was always available with a surcharge of approx. 3,000 euros. For the last models, Burmester opted for a high-gloss white finish in addition to walnut. Without any extra charge.
