Burmester 216 power amplifier
The 216 stereo power amplifier fits seamlessly into the legendary amplifier family of Burmester power amplifiers, which have received many international awards. A particular specialty of the 216 is its universal applicability. It combines powerful performance with great dynamics and excellent timing and shines with impressive spatial resolution and musical warmth. This is achieved through the combination of proven switching principles with new components and the use of a completely new cooling concept. The 216 power amplifier helps even loudspeakers with the lowest impedance values and complex loads to achieve a pleasantly airy sound with sovereign dynamics.
DESIGN
As with the 218, the 216's design is derived from Burmester's flagship 159 mono power amp. The 159 inherits its clear lines and the self-contained and harmonious impression of the more compact models. In particular, the screwless processing of the lid and the absence of additional decorative elements underline this look.
HANDMADE
Only the best components that meet the tightly defined Burmester tolerances are selected in the development and manufacturing process. In addition, there are several days of trial runs and further intensive quality controls up to a detailed final listening test under real conditions. Before installation, each individual assembly is subjected to a 100% test according to Burmester quality standards. This complex manufacturing process ensures that the customer ultimately receives a product that is exceptional in every respect.
