AYA floorstanding speakers
Rega's AYA loudspeakers, developed by a team led by company founder Roy Gandy, represent excellent sound quality and innovative technology. After over ten years of intensive research and development, these speakers promise a detailed, balanced performance, regardless of the genre of music. Rega has designed hand-crafted drivers that, in combination with the ZRR high-frequency tweeter and a new crossover, provide an outstanding sound experience. The sculpted cabinets and stand create a floating effect that emphasizes the unique design.
Innovative design and technology
The AYA speakers are housed in a custom cabinet made in the UK from glass reinforced cement (GRC). These materials reduce weight while increasing the structural integrity of the 2.5-way bandpass design. This technique ensures accurate bass reproduction as well as the typical Rega midrange and detailed highs.
Rega has always focused on true engineering without being distracted by marketing gimmicks. Unlike many other loudspeaker manufacturers, Rega has invested resources in research and development to achieve a completely new cabinet design that offers both performance and excellent value for money.
Steel grey design
The cabinet of the AYA speakers is finished in a sleek steel grey, with a dark grey GRC front panel. These cabinets are manufactured using a special casting process that makes each piece unique. Concrete naturally has markings and imperfections that give the speaker an individual touch.
Optional speaker covers
The speaker covers are available as an optional extra and are supplied separately. They can be easily attached to the front panel using a magnet and protect the speaker cones without affecting the sound.
