REL HT/1003 MKII – Compact performance at a new level

With a powerful 300-watt Class D amplifier and a newly developed 10” (250 mm) CarbonGlas™ driver, this subwoofer delivers impressive performance. The new design doubles the volume compared to the previous model. Despite the compact dimensions, the sound quality is maintained, for both home theater and music applications.

High-quality housing design

The HT/1003 MKII is not only impressive in terms of sound, but also in terms of appearance. The flat, elegant housing is based on the REL reference models and ensures faster and deeper bass reproduction. The high-gloss black surface is finished with five layers of hand-polished lacquer, while the horizontal line structure of the housing offers a sophisticated look. This design enables seamless integration into home cinema setups with the REL T/x or S series .

The newly developed 10” CarbonGlas™ driver has been extensively redesigned to ensure even higher performance. A larger magnet structure and an improved suspension with an enlarged edge ensure more precise control of the bass reproduction. The result: an exceptionally dynamic performance that can keep up with larger subwoofers.

Improved amplifier technology

The 300-watt Class D amplifier was developed by a leading manufacturer and features improved circuit boards and optimized power supplies . This ensures a long service life and a constant power output without distortion. As with all REL subwoofers, the power is specified as RMS Continuous - comparable to high-quality monoblock amplifiers.

Wireless connectivity with HT-Air™

Thanks to the optional HT-Air™ technology, the subwoofer can be operated wirelessly. The 5.8 GHz transmitter and receiver enable fast, lossless transmission over up to 18 meters without digital compression. This technology uses the same LSIC chip as the high-end AirShip II , but without expensive digital-to-analog converters.
