High-quality Neutrik SpeakOn bridges

The Bassline Blue Line Array Connectors are used to connect the subwoofers in series within a line array. With these connectors, each stack only needs a single high-level cable that runs from the amplifier to the lowest subwoofer. The connectors then take the signal and distribute it from the lower to the upper speaker. In a stereo configuration, one pair is required for each vertical level of the line array stack.

For the connection to the REL sub-bass system, Neutrik SpeakOn connectors are used, which are manufactured in Switzerland and have proven to be reliable, neutral and mechanically optimal in over 100,000 REL systems in use worldwide. These connectors are perfect for REL's highly acclaimed high-level input circuit.

Naturally drawn copper wire: Superior quality through systematic optimization

In addition to the precise optimization of the cable's internal geometry, Bassline Blue also uses copper that exceeds industry standards and is of a quality and finish intended for military applications and high-speed telecommunications. The cable construction consists of slow-drawn, high-purity copper that is annealed in a nitrogen bath processed to minimize surface contamination. Each conductor is coated with a Teflon film immediately after leaving the extrusion die to ensure that no contamination enters the cable. This process results in an exceptionally pure and natural sound, which REL calls "Natural Drawn ™ Wire". Bassline Blue is hand-crafted in REL's California manufacturing facility and uses cables manufactured exclusively to REL specifications by a North American OEM cable manufacturer.
