Clearaudio ABSOLUTE PHONO INSIDE

A small circuit board in the pickup becomes the greatest revolution in the history of moving coil technology (MC) by the clearaudio developers. With this innovation at the absolute phono it is possible for the first time in the world to amplify the music signal directly at the pickup. With terrific results: In the entire audio range, the listener experiences a noise ratio that has been improved by ten decibels. And the main amplifier stage specially designed for absolute phono benefits from this technical progress. Above all through the principle of purism. Their two pairs of outputs use separate high-level output drivers. The balanced XLR output and the unbalanced MPC cinch output work completely independently without influencing each other. Silver mica capacitors developed and manufactured by clearaudio, thanks to their position and non-magnetic properties, ensure optimal sound quality. In return, relays and coupling capacitors were dispensed with. In this way, the sound is retained in its original brilliance along the entire signal path. The control element is also characterized by striking minimalism. A single multi-function button is sufficient for on-off control and muting. Information about the respective operating status is provided by a flashing signal. The power supply is just as ingenious. The outsourced power supply unit minimizes interference caused by grid interference. In addition, the power supply units for input amplifiers, RIAA equalizers and output buffer stages were separated from each other
created separately. Designed to be regenerative-resistant and thus protected from the voltages and currents of downstream tube stages, the output buffer stages do their precise work completely undisturbed. Despite all the restraint in design and consumption, the absolute phono shows itself to be extreme
diverse in their area of application. In addition to all the clearaudio series, it is also compatible with many other moving coil systems. It is delivered from the factory including a Clearaudio tonearm.
