THE CONCEPT - IMMERSE YOURSELF IN THE WORLD OF VINYL WITHOUT PRIOR KNOWLEDGE

The Concept MM is the basic configuration of the Concept turntable. This turntable already fulfills all expectations one could have of a turntable. Once you've freed the Concept from its well-designed packaging, the most complicated part of the installation is already over. After removing the transport securing devices (foam on the tonearm, rubber), the belt is placed around the aluminum sub-platter. The platter is then placed onto the sub-platter using the spindle. With the RCA connectors plugged into the phono input or phono preamp, simply plug in the included power cord. And you're ready to go. All settings such as VTA, offset angle, and overhang have already been preset at the factory in Erlangen. This turntable is therefore ready to play and can be used without any further prior knowledge. For those with higher sonic aspirations, we can configure the Concept together with you.

The core of the turntable plinth consists of medium-density fiberboard or solid wood layers compressed under high pressure. The plinth is available in four different colors and textures to match. The top layer of the plinth is made of a special satin-finished plastic. This composition minimizes resonance. The platter is driven by a fully decoupled DC motor via a precision-ground flat belt to prevent the transmission of unwanted noise. A generously sized, highly stable external power supply provides the necessary power.

THE CONCEPT TONEARM

The tonearm features a wear-free and maintenance-free magnetic bearing without friction. The combination is completed with the high-quality clearaudio MM or MC concept cartridge (upgrades are possible at any time).

CONCEPT V2 MM cartridge

The Concept V2 MM is a classic moving magnet cartridge that easily ranks among the legendary Clearaudio cartridges in terms of quality. Unlike other moving magnet cartridges, the stylus is not removable. If the stylus ever needs replacing, the entire cartridge is sent to Clearaudio, and you receive an exchange price for a new Concept V2 MM.
