The concept concept - immerse yourself in the world of vinyl without any prior knowledge

The Concept turntable is the basic configuration of the Concept turntable. This belt drive already fulfills all expectations that one can have of a good turntable. Anyone who has freed the Concept from its well thought-out packaging has already completed the most complex part of the installation. After removing the transport locks (foam on the tonearm, rubber), the strap is placed around the aluminum subplatter. The platter is placed on the sub platter via the mandrel. If the RCA plugs are connected to the phono socket or phono amplifier, all you have to do is plug in the mains plug supplied. Here we go. All settings such as VTA, offset, overhang have already been set at the Erlangen factory. This record player is ready to play and can be put into operation without any prior knowledge.

The core of the running gear body consists of medium-density wood fiber or layers of solid wood compressed under high pressure. The look of the coat is produced in four different colors and structures to match. The top layer of the drive consists of a special satin-finished plastic. This composition makes it possible to minimize resonances. The platter is driven by a completely decoupled DC motor via a polished flat belt in order to avoid the transmission of noise. The power supply for this takes over a generously dimensioned, highly stable external power supply unit.
