The RPM 9 Carbon uses an extra-heavy chassis construction made of CNC-milled MDF with integrated steel granulate, which is cast in synthetic resin. A perfect resonance behavior is achieved through complex heat treatment and carbon coating. The mass drive is effectively decoupled from the ground by magnetic feet. Two magnets of the same polarity in the feet let the record player float. The pins in the feet are only for centering. A specially polished aluminum platter with embedded TPE resonance insulation uses a vinyl layer as a mat and the inverted platter bearing with ceramic ball and plate offers outstanding smoothness and rumble-free performance. The extra-heavy free-standing motor is equipped with a precise motor controller that allows for comfortable 33/45 speed switching. With the uncompromising 9" Evo tonearm with tapered tube and inverted tip bearings, every pickup system finds ideal scanning conditions.

The RPM 9 Carbon is optionally available with or without Ortofon Quintet Bronze. The signal is routed to the preamp via the highly flexible internal wiring and the included Connect it Phono CC phono cable with RCA connectors (XLR optionally available).
