With FLUX Fluid 2.0, FLUX presents the logical further development of its proven needle cleaner – for discerning vinyl enthusiasts who value optimal care, long-lasting sound quality, and sustainability. The goal of the development was to enable a thorough yet gentle cleaning of the record needle while simultaneously creating a more environmentally friendly alternative to the previous fluid.

Instead of alcohol, FLUX Fluid 2.0 uses a high-quality coconut-based surfactant, complemented by an effective foam inhibitor, the proven needle protection oil, and a specially selected fragrance. The result: the same impressive cleaning performance as the original – now alcohol-free.

Why a new fluid?
Although the original FLUX Fluid, with minimal alcohol content, has been sold over 40,000 times since 2015 – without a single complaint regarding needle compatibility – FLUX is responding to community concerns with its new alcohol-free formula. FLUX Fluid 2.0 was specifically developed to meet all needs – in terms of sound, care, and environmental impact.

Another highlight is the new, subtle fragrance. At the HighEnd 2024 trade fair in Munich, it was selected by over 500 visitors as part of a blind smell test. 42% clearly chose the current version – a nice extra that rounds off the cleaning experience.
