This preamplifier is a used device in good condition.
The NAC 282 preamplifier is supplied without the NAPSC power supply, which is solely responsible for powering its digital switching network. The audio circuitry of the NAC 282, on the other hand, is powered by either a NAP 155 XS or NAP 200 power amplifier. Optionally, the versatile NAC 282 can also be upgraded with an external power supply such as the HiCap or the SuperCap, resulting in even greater transparency and musicality.

Low-resonance circuit boards and anti-vibration feet prevent impairment of signal quality due to microphonics, thus ensuring higher sound quality.
All functions of the NAC 282 are controlled by a microprocessor that only activates for operation and is otherwise switched off. Protection circuits monitor the power supply and ensure that the preamplifier is safely switched off in the event of a power failure.
A very user-friendly feature is the configurable Smart-IR system, which allows you to control multiple Naim components with a single remote. Two of the six inputs are available not only as DIN connectors—which we prefer due to their superior grounding and impedance matching—but also as RCA connectors, simplifying the use of third-party devices and other interconnect cables. A unity-gain input is also available for using the NAC 282 with an AV processor.
