The signal conductor of this new nextgenÖ banana plug is extremely delicately shaped and made of highly conductive fine silver. To protect against oxidation, it is directly platinum-plated without nickel. This preserves its high conductivity and it is free from magnetic interference. The contact pin is shaped so that its three segments 'bulge' when the spindle is turned in and it can be firmly clamped in each pole terminal. The resulting constantly high contact pressure enables consistently low contact resistance.

Like WBT-0645, the nextgenÖ banana is shorter thanks to its inclined angle and allows - if desired - a space-saving installation of the devices. WBT-0610 Ag is also gentle on your cable: thanks to the angle, it is guided directly towards the floor and cannot be damaged by kinking.

Despite the filigree design of the signal conductor, WBT-0610 is perfectly suited for crimping technology. With the two Torx screws you fix the crimped cable end at the front and secure your cable against tension with the second.

The connector body is completely insulated and meets the safety requirements of IEC. The safety pin also prevents the plug from being unintentionally connected to a mains socket. This means that WBT-0610 Ag is also fully CE compatible.
