12th generation Uni-Q® drivers

At the heart of the Coda W is the 12th generation 5.25-inch Uni-Q® driver array. This KEF-developed technology positions the tweeter at the acoustic center of the woofer/midrange driver. This creates a single point source of sound that disperses sound evenly throughout the room. The result is a precise, three-dimensional soundstage with exceptional detail – regardless of the listening position.

Music Integrity Engine® – Intelligence in Sound

KEF's Music Integrity Engine® (MIE) is used for digital signal processing. These DSP algorithms, specifically tuned to the Coda W, ensure that all components work together optimally. The system thus achieves a total output of 200 W, which impresses with high precision, harmonic coherence, and remarkable dynamics.

Wireless audio in Hi-Fi quality

The Coda W uses Bluetooth® 5.4 with aptX Adaptive™ and aptX Lossless™ for stable, high-resolution wireless playback. Music is transmitted in CD quality (up to 16-bit/44.1 kHz) – with minimal latency and maximum clarity. Enjoy your favorite music, podcasts, or audiobooks completely wirelessly, but with true hi-fi sound.

Versatile connectivity

As a central element of a modern audio system, the Coda W offers extensive connectivity options for a wide variety of sources:

• Wireless streaming: Bluetooth 5.4 enables direct streaming from smartphones, tablets or notebooks – convenient, fast and reliable.
• Turntable integration: An integrated phono preamplifier allows for the direct connection of most turntables. Devices with their own preamplifier can also be connected via the LINE input (RCA). Alternatively, CD players or other analog sources can also be connected here.
• TV sound via HDMI ARC: With a single cable connection, the Coda W transforms your TV into a true hi-fi system. The volume can be conveniently controlled via your TV remote.
• USB-C input: Ideal for PC or laptop use – whether for music, movies, games or video conferences, the sound always remains clear, powerful and detailed.
• Subwoofer output: For those who want even more depth, a KEF subwoofer can be connected via the dedicated output to extend the sound spectrum downwards.

The model is available in five exclusive finishes: Vintage Burgundy, Nickel Grey, Moss Green, Midnight Blue, and Dark Titanium. Each variant makes an individual style statement – from subtle to bold.

Ease of use and flexibility

Operation is intuitive via clearly structured buttons on the top panel or via the KEF Connect app. The app allows users to adjust EQ presets, manage inputs, and perform firmware updates – all conveniently via smartphone or tablet.

A 3-meter speaker cable is included. For larger rooms or custom setups, an optional 8-meter C-Link cable is available. The optional SQ1 stands allow you to achieve optimal listening height and soundstage.

A tribute to the classic

The name Coda has a long tradition in KEF's history: between the 1970s and 2000s, it stood for compact loudspeakers with a big sound. The new Coda W takes up this pioneering spirit and brings it into the present – as a fully integrated all-in-one hi-fi system that combines modern convenience with classic sound quality.
