To combine higher output with precise control, the driver's suspension components have been completely redesigned - similar to the suspension of a sports car. The increased housing volume improves efficiency and reduces pressure inside, allowing the driver to be tuned for better control and rigidity.

The aluminum central cone of the 10-inch (250 mm) driver ensures stability with minimal weight. This construction significantly improves attack, dynamics and transparency and makes the T/9x a subwoofer in a class of its own.

The T/9x uses REL's proven Class A/B amplifiers, which have been used in the T series since 2006. With more than 200,000 satisfied users worldwide, these amplifiers are considered extremely reliable. The T/9x's 300-watt Mosfet amplifier delivers impressive power reserves, supported by optimized components such as new Mosfets and improved transformer mountings.
