With its precise craftsmanship, innovative driver technology, and resonance-optimized cabinet design, the C2 delivers an unparalleled blend of clarity, dynamics, and emotional impact.
Technology that sets standards
At the heart of the C2 is the Børresen RP94 ribbon planar tweeter, whose extremely lightweight diaphragm, weighing just 0.01g, ensures outstanding impulse response, brilliant transparency, and holographic soundstage. For the midrange and bass frequencies, 5-inch Børresen DCC5 Neo drivers with carbon nanotube sandwich diaphragms and highly rigid ceramic particles are employed. Field-cancellation magnets neutralize the magnetic fields, virtually eliminating distortion.
The speakers are prepared for bi-wiring and bi-amping, allowing the bass and midrange/treble frequencies to be driven separately by two amplifiers. When paired with high-quality tube or Class A amplifiers, the C2 unleashes its full musical potential.
Cabinet design for audiophile rooms
The C2's slim cabinet rests on a solid, resonance-optimized base. Multi-layered laminate panels, internal Helmholtz resonators, and carbon fiber side panels minimize mechanical vibrations and standing waves. The crossovers consist of copper air-core inductors, high-quality film capacitors, and directly soldered contacts for maximum sonic fidelity.
