The Dynaudio Contour 20i sets new standards in the field of high-quality compact loudspeakers. At its heart is the legendary Esotar 2i tweeter. Compared to its predecessor, it features an enlarged rear absorption chamber and the innovative Hexis Dome. This combination effectively reduces resonances, ensures a particularly linear frequency response, and enables finely resolved high-frequency reproduction with minimal distortion. Voices, instruments, and the finest details are thus rendered with exceptional authenticity.

The 18 cm MSP mid-bass driver was also meticulously refined. Its characteristic magnesium silicate polymer diaphragm works with a lightweight aluminum voice coil and a powerful dual ferrite magnet system. A newly developed spider made of aramid fibers further improves the driver's movement characteristics and ensures more precise diaphragm guidance. The result is controlled bass, natural midrange, and impressive dynamics across the entire frequency range.

Thanks to the optimized chassis design, Dynaudio was also able to simplify the crossover. The more direct signal path reduces electrical losses and contributes to a particularly transparent, detailed, and unadulterated music reproduction.

A characteristic feature of the Contour series is the solid aluminum baffle, which is flush integrated into the cabinet. Its carefully shaped curves minimize diffraction effects in the high-frequency range and simultaneously create an extremely stable base for the speaker drivers. This ensures precise and controlled sound reproduction, even at higher volumes.

Internally, the Contour 20i also benefits from the developments of the renowned Evoke and Confidence series. The revised cabinet damping effectively reduces unwanted resonances and supports the exceptionally clean and balanced sound characteristics.
