12th Generation Uni-Q® Driver

At the heart of the Coda W is the 12th-generation 5.25-inch Uni-Q® driver array. This proprietary KEF technology positions the tweeter at the acoustic center of the woofer/midrange driver, creating a single-point sound source that distributes sound evenly throughout the room. The result is a precise, three-dimensional soundstage with exceptional detail—regardless of the listening position.

Music Integrity Engine® – Intelligence in Sound

KEF's Music Integrity Engine® (MIE) is used for digital signal processing. These DSP algorithms, specifically tuned for the Coda W, ensure optimal interplay between all components. The system achieves a total output of 200 W, delivering impressive precision, harmonic coherence, and dynamic range.

Wireless audio in Hi-Fi quality

The Coda W uses Bluetooth® 5.4 with aptX Adaptive™ and aptX Lossless™ for stable, high-resolution wireless playback. Music is transmitted in CD quality (up to 16-bit/44.1 kHz) – with minimal latency and maximum clarity. So you can enjoy your favorite music, podcasts, or audiobooks wirelessly, yet with true hi-fi quality.

Versatile connection convenience

As a central element of a modern audio system, the Coda W offers extensive connection options for a wide variety of sources:

• Wireless streaming: Bluetooth 5.4 enables direct streaming from smartphones, tablets, or notebooks – convenient, fast, and reliable.
• Turntable integration: An integrated phono preamplifier allows direct connection to most turntables. Devices with their own preamplifiers can also be connected via the LINE input (RCA). Alternatively, CD players or other analog sources can also be connected here.
• TV sound via HDMI ARC: With a single cable connection, the Coda W transforms your TV into a true hi-fi system. The volume can be conveniently controlled using the TV remote.
• USB-C input: Ideal for PC or laptop use – whether for music, movies, games, or video conferences, the sound always remains clear, powerful, and detailed.
• Subwoofer output: If you want even more depth, you can connect a KEF subwoofer via the dedicated output and extend the sound spectrum downwards.

The Coda W combines modern simplicity with classic charm. Clean lines, subtle curves, and carefully selected materials give the speaker an elegant presence that blends harmoniously into any home environment.

The model is available in five exclusive finishes: Vintage Burgundy, Nickel Grey, Moss Green, Midnight Blue, and Dark Titanium. Each version makes an individual style statement – from subtle to expressive.

Ease of use and flexibility

Operation is intuitive via clearly structured buttons on the top panel or via the KEF Connect app. Users can adjust EQ presets, manage inputs, and perform firmware updates – all conveniently via their smartphone or tablet.

A 3-meter speaker cable is included. For larger rooms or customized setups, an optional 8-meter C-Link cable is available. Combined with the optional SQ1 floor stands, the optimal listening height and spatial effect can be achieved.

A tribute to the classic

The name Coda has a long history in KEF's history: From the 1970s to the 2000s, it stood for compact speakers with a big sound. The new Coda W captures this pioneering spirit and brings it into the present – as a fully integrated all-in-one hi-fi system that combines modern convenience with classic sound quality.
