Advanced XStat™ converter for impressive sound transparency
With a radiating surface over 50 inches² larger than the EM-ESL model, the new XStat™ electrostatic transducer delivers exceptionally detailed reproduction. The proven CLS™ (Curvilinear Line Source) technology, with its slightly curved diaphragm shape, ensures wide and precise high-frequency dispersion – ideal for natural vocals and subtle nuances in the high frequency range.
Two powerful 8-inch woofers with bass reflex system
The compact, asymmetrically designed bass reflex cabinet houses two long-throw woofers with specially developed paper cones. These deliver tight, dynamic bass and, thanks to minimal distortion and optimized suspension, achieve a performance otherwise found only in significantly more expensive loudspeaker models. The frequency response ranges from 41–22,000 Hz (±3 dB) – ideal for all music genres.
Natural dipole radiation pattern for perfect room acoustics
The EM-ESL X operates as a true dipole speaker . This means that sound is distributed evenly to the front and rear, while side reflections are minimized by anti-phase cancellation. The result: precise spatial imaging , increased sound clarity, and an open, spacious listening experience.
High-quality components and precise crossover
The integrated Vojtko™ topology filter utilizes only select components such as air-core coils, low-DCR steel laminate inductors , and polyester film and electrolytic capacitors . These ensure seamless integration of tweeters and woofers for a harmonious sound with maximum detail.
Variety of connections and stable ground connection
The 5-way bi-wire binding posts allow for flexible and secure cable connections. Thanks to the included ETC™ spikes with rubber caps, the speaker can be precisely adjusted to different floor surfaces – for optimal decoupling and maximum sound stability.
