POWER XR POWER AMPLIFIER

The Power-XR is the latest stereo power amplifier from Cyrus. The broadband, high-current power amplifier, developed from the ground up, is capable of driving even the most demanding speakers with ease. There is no lack of innovations and improvements. The XR series products are the result of more than a decade of technology and development experience. With special attention to the details of every component in the audio path, the XR line takes Cyrus audio performance to new levels.

Power amplifier:

The Power-XR's wideband power amplifier operates from the DC threshold to beyond 100 kHz, offering a completely linear frequency response without unwanted phase shifts in the audio band. With its oversized power supply, the Power-XR power amplifier always manages to turn the scope and drama of musical performances into an immediate experience.

High performance power supply:

The power supply has a massive 408VA toroidal transformer that delivers stable, low-noise power to the high-performance power supply.

PSU-XR connector:

The Power-XR has a connection for upgrading with the new PSU-XR power supply. Thirty years ago, Cyrus broke new ground with the introduction of the PSX-R, the first-ever regulated power supply upgrade that automatically adjusted to the power requirements of the connected product. The PSU-XR raises the bar even further by offering no fewer than five independent regulated power supplies in a single device. In the Power-XR, one pair of these is responsible for the ultra-smooth power supply of the voltage amplifier and a second pair is responsible for an enormous dynamic boost of the power amplifier.

LED settings via MC bus:

The LED color and brightness are automatically adjusted so that the color and brightness settings are adopted in the system via the MC-BUS of the Master XR product.

Low power consumption in standby mode:

The Power-XR can be switched to an energy-saving standby mode via MC-BUS or via the 12 V trigger input.

Die-cast aluminum chassis:

All Cyrus components are still housed in the iconic die-cast aluminum chassis that has been used across the Classic and XR range for over 30 years now. Designed and built to stand the test of time, each individual chassis is finished by hand using a process called lining, resulting in every product built by Cyrus being of the highest quality.
