Support for Lo-Z and Hi-Z systems with high output flexibility
The amplifier supports both low-impedance loudspeakers (between 2 and 16 Ohms) and constant-voltage loudspeaker systems with 70V or 100V – a combination that enables flexible system architectures. Thanks to proportional power allocation in Lo-Z and Hi-Z modes, different loudspeaker types can be driven simultaneously without the need for external switching or additional amplifiers.
Smart design with Wi-Fi access for easy setup
A highlight of the Connect 4008 is the integrated Wireless Access Point (WAP), which enables a direct Wi-Fi connection. This allows for convenient system setup and control via mobile devices such as laptops, tablets, or smartphones – without the need for additional network infrastructure. This feature is a major advantage, especially for temporary or hard-to-reach installations.
Central control via the PowerZone Control web app
Like all Connect series amplifiers, the PowerZone Connect 4008 features the user-friendly PowerZone Control web app. This browser-based interface provides comprehensive access to all configuration options and allows for quick setup without the need for additional software.
Available DSP functions include parametric equalizers, crossover filters, delay settings, limiters, volume control and routing – ideal for precise adaptation to complex room acoustics or individual project requirements.
