The Bryston 4B 2.0 continues the extraordinary success story of one of Bryston's most renowned power amplifiers. Continuously developed since 1978, the current generation combines high power reserves, precise signal processing, and a robust construction for demanding hi-fi systems. With 300 watts per channel into 8 ohms and up to 500 watts into 4 ohms, this stereo power amplifier offers ample power to effortlessly drive even the most demanding loudspeakers.

The consistent dual-mono design forms an important basis for the high performance. Both channels have completely independent power supplies, including their own transformers. This ensures that the channels remain largely independent of each other, even during dynamic musical passages, and can selectively provide their power reserves.

The patented Salomie circuit is used for particularly precise reproduction. It is one of the characteristic technical features of Bryston amplifiers and, together with the sophisticated amplifier circuitry, contributes to clear, dynamic, and detailed sound reproduction. The gain can be switched between 23 dB and 29 dB, allowing for flexible adaptation to different system configurations.

Furthermore, the 4B 2.0 offers both balanced XLR and unbalanced RCA inputs. Its fully convection-cooled design eliminates the need for a fan, resulting in exceptionally quiet operation. This is a crucial advantage, especially in high-end listening environments, as no additional fan noise interferes with the music playback.

The solid, machined, and anodized aluminum housing underscores the amplifier's high-quality design. A soft-start microprocessor ensures a controlled power-on process and reduces the risk of circuit overload. The integrated DC trigger also allows for convenient integration of the 4B 2.0 into automated hi-fi and home theater systems.

The power amplifier is also efficient in standby mode: its power consumption is less than 500 mW. Depending on the application, various front panel options are available, including consumer versions with or without handles, as well as PRO versions for rack mounting.
